Product Description
Mebli is a college-exclusive marketplace app created by two USC college students who recognized the challenges and scams prevalent in traditional secondhand platforms. It is designed to transform how college communities buy and sell items, especially furniture, while ensuring safety, sustainability, and social engagement.

Email Verification
Mebli is built on the notion of connecting students in the same campus in a virtual community. To achieve this, we created lists of universities and their .edu e-mail access. Upon logging in with a edu email and verifying that you own that email, you get access to your community.

Sellers and Buyers Marketplace
Sellers sign up for a Stripe Connect account which allows them to process payments and receive the money, while Mebli automatically keeps a part of the transaction as fees.

Search and Filter
Finding the right piece of furniture is no longer a hassle, thanks to Mebli's rich set of filtering criteria: price, condition, category, and more.

Direct Chat
Once an offer is accepted, the buyer and seller are connected in a direct chat that allows them to settle on the transaction details: how is the furniture moved from one place to another.
