Global Health Tests
An e-commerce and lab platform for at-home food sensitivity testing across brands and languages.
The problem
Global Health Tests, which operates Check My Body Health's at-home testing, needed an e-commerce platform to sell food sensitivity and health tests across multiple brands and languages, and to handle the lab side of fulfilment behind it.
What we built
We built the storefront on Ruby on Rails and Shopify with multiple payment gateways, SEO, retail and subscription purchasing, and tuned page speed. On the fulfilment side we handled reports in many languages, including right-to-left and non-Latin fonts such as Thai, built a single search interface spanning every brand and storefront, and automated the lab: managing the list of allergens tested and driving the Ethernet-connected testing machines.
The outcome
Generated PDF reports reach customers instantly by email and text. One search interface unifies sales across the brands and storefronts, and the lab's allergen testing process runs automatically.
